Domestics with Lisa Barber .jpgA huge thank you to the fantastic Domestic Services team at Royal Liverpool Hospital, who have raised an incredible £2,571.65 for our SWAN End of Life and Bereavement Care Team. Over the past 12 months, colleagues have gone above and beyond to support the charity, organising a wide range of fundraising activities including tombolas, raffles, cake sales, charity walks and even a sponsored head shave. Their commitment and enthusiasm have made a real difference, helping us provide comfort and support to patients and families during some of life's most difficult moments.
A special thank you goes to Debbie Stanley, who helped coordinate many of the fundraising activities, alongside colleagues including Jackie Kirkwood, who generously donated handmade crochet hearts, angels and blankets, and Ame Turay, who provided prizes to support fundraising events.
Maria Guerin, Lead Nurse for SWAN End of Life and Bereavement Care, said:

"The dedication and generosity shown throughout this fundraising effort demonstrate the very best of our hospital community. This donation will help us continue to provide comfort, dignity and compassionate support to patients and families when they need it most."

We are incredibly grateful to every member of the Domestic Services team who took part who should be very proud of what they have achieved.
